Leah Moneyham has been working with AHEDD for the past five years. During those five years, she has gained much more confidence to truly thrive in her employment! Leah likes to stay busy, so she has two jobs! She is employed at Brownstone Elementary School and Burger King. At Brownstone, Leah helps the kids with their all of their needs during lunchtime. After the lunch period concludes, she ensures the tables and chairs are all clean for the next lunch rush to come in! At Burger King, Leah is in charge of keeping the dining area clean as well. Her job coach, Leslie, stated that she is incredibly diligent at both of her places of employment, so her areas are always in tip top shape!
The true win is how much Leah’s confidence has grown over the years. When Leslie met Leah, she stated that Leah was shy and reserved. Over the years, Leah has come out of her shell immensely and loves to interact with her coworkers, the kids, and customers! She said interacting with people at work is one of her favorite parts of her job!
Many of Leah’s team members stated how much she has been a joy to work with! She always wants to improve her performance at work, and it has paid off for her as she recently received a raise at Brownstone Elementary School! This raise made her feel incredibly happy and appreciated!
